Chorelation was established to be a professional choir with a core of sixteen singers. It has met for intense activity and then gone into recess until another occasion for paid work has arisen.
It began with the production of a CD — What Sweeter Music Can We Sing — and has met for several other experiences. The ensemble premiered Joe Dolce’s Joan On Fire with the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. It sang in support of a Work Cover T.V. launch and promotion. It is an opportunity for choristers to sing wonderful repertoire — and be paid to do it!!
Rehearsals are few, as it is expected that singers will learn music prior to the few intensive practices.
Well developed vocal ability and excellence in sight-reading and musicianship are expected of Chorelation members.
